A true handyman can fix just about anything and is also honest about when they can't. For instance, I don't work on roofs, lay brick, build concrete patios, or do large paint jobs (interior or exterior).
The following is an abbreviated list of work I've done, but if you don't see it listed here, just ask. I will always help you make the best decision for you, whether I do the work or give you information that helps you get it done.
Appliances: Small appliance installation and repair (microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal)
Carpentry: Framing; deck, porch, fence and stair repairs; cabinetry and shelving; finish trim and moulding; exterior trim
Doors: Install and repair interior and exterior doors, storm and screen doors, door hardware
Drywall: Repair and install for walls and ceilings
Electrical: Install and repair fixtures, switches and outlets
Painting: For now, I paint what I work on (wall repairs, trim, etc.). If you have a big paint job, best find a full-time painter.
Plumbing: Faucets, drains, showers & bathtubs
Remodeling: Bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms/closets
Windows: Install blinds, shades, hardware
